TWK Staff, their guests and the local community donned their Christmas Jumpers on Friday 13 December the official National Christmas Jumper Day and organised their own successful Charity Christmas Jumper Day Coffee & Mince Pie Open Morning at their head office in Ferndown for their Charity Partner The Dorset Children’s Foundation who are a local independent charity, set up in 2013 to improve the lives of local sick and disabled children and since then they have donated over £500,000 to local children.
The charity fund medical expenses, mobility equipment and therapies not covered by the NHS. They also grant life enriching experiences, to create special memories that last longer than a lifetime big enough to make a difference, small enough to care.
We held a Christmas draw raffle and charged everyone who joined us £1 for coffee, mince pie and a raffle ticket.
Our Head Office Team of staff donated generously this year, raising £203.40 in support of our Charity Partner which will help towards their much needed funds recognising this our staff are proud to support such a charity.
Dorsey bear the charity’s mascot also joined us for the morning and made his way around the local community visiting shops, services and meeting the general public.
A fun festive morning had by everyone in support for such a worthy local cause.
More to follow in 2020…..
